Haiis. Today hubby was supposed to take MC. But end up, his ship ACTIVATE SAILING even b4 he could get to see a doc. This time round it's gonna be 4 days trip to south china sea to find a missing torpedo or smthing.. NO RECEPTION! Poor hubby, just came back not long from the 2 weeks sailing at tioman, nw gotta sail again. Hmmph! He went sailing and I went home. Been watching HOT SHOTS all day long. Damn boring can T.T ~


Okayy.. anyway, I am so happy that I finally complete my Personal Profiling Project. Did a poster presentation in front of 3 evaluators yesterday.To be honest, I think I did quite well *hoohoohoo* Manage to talk alot of relevant craps without referring to my notes. Woohoo.. think I can handle presentation stress quite well. I hope I can have the same achievements for my SIA interview next month. Fret not! Stay calm! Smile! Talk cork! * trying to overcome my fears* Here are the comments my advisor and evaluators left:


Advisor comments: Shi Yi has put in excellent efforts in doing this profiling. She has the initiative to do interviews with the relevant staff to gather more information. Her report is logical, and besides SWOT analysis, she has also analyzed some case studies (e.g. 1997 financial crisis) on the survival of Hock Hua. Her presentation is good with logical justification. The poster is good although the words on the SWOT analysis should have be printed bigger.

Assessor 1 comments: Good analysis of the data gathered. Showed good understanding on how she can improve the company's business using her knowledge gained from her diploma. She had managed to overcome the issues faced by lack of information on the topic and company online.

Assessor 2 comments: There is evidence of data gathering from various sources, including interview with CEO and staff of company profiled. Fairly detailed analysis of data gathered coupled with relevant research. Provides creative insights by including case study of 1997 East Asian Financial crisis & SARs crisis. Leverages knowledge and skills from DBC diploma. Articulate and able to handle challenges when posed.

Okay. Sorry for being yaya papaya. Ur must understand I seldom do so well for my studies ma.. Wahaha! Feeling complacent right now. =X Okay at least, a load of my mind.
